ECLIPTA/BHRINGRAJ/KARISALANKANNI(WHITE)

Eclipta prostrata commonly known as false daisy, Gunta kalagaraku,Karisalankanni and bhringraj is a species of plant in the sunflower family.Traditional medicinal systems of the Indian subcontinent countries as well as tribal practitioners consider the plant to have diverse medicinal values and use it commonly for treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, respiratory tract disorders (including asthma), fever, hair loss and graying of hair, liver disorders.In Ayurveda, an Indian tradition that aims to balance and heal the body through nutrition, bhringraj is said to promote hair growth, strengthen hair, and prevent graying and dandruff.

HOW TO GROW:

Once received keep the plant in natural indirect bright Light. Do not re-pot for minimum two weeks after receiving it.Water when top soil (1-2 inches) feels dry to touch. The plant will grow just about anywhere and under a wide range of environmental conditions. Dig a hole somewhat shallower than the length of the root ball. Place the plant in the hole and replace soil, tamping firmly as you go. Water sufficiently. Water thoroughly after planting. Thereafter, water as needed to keep the soil evenly and consistently moist. In our experience, one to two weeks depending on the season is necessary to reestablish the plant happily.
