INDIAN TULIP/THESPESIA POPULNEA/POOVARASU-LIVE PLANT
Thespesia populnea, commonly known as the portia tree, Pacific rosewood, Indian tulip tree, or milo, among other names, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the mallow family, Malvaceae.is a shrub or medium-sized evergreen tree, up to 20 m tall with a dense crown. Bark greyish. It is considered as medicinal tree.
HOW TO GROW:
Once received keep the plant in natural indirect bright Light. Do not re-pot for minimum two weeks after receiving it.Water when top soil (1-2inches) feels dry to touch. The plant will grow just about anywhere and under a wide range of environmental conditions. Dig a hole somewhat shallower than the length of the root ball. Place the plant in the hole and replace soil, tamping firmly as you go. Water sufficiently. Water thoroughly after planting. Thereafter, water as needed to keep the soil evenly and consistently moist. In our experience, one to two weeks depending on the season is necessary to reestablish the plant happily.
