RHIZOBIUM BIOFERTILIZER (WITH FREE PLANT SEEDS)

RHIZOBIUM BIOFERTILIZER : Rhizobium Bacteria as Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria for plants.Rhizobium is a genus of Gram-negative soil bacteria that fix nitrogen. Significant role of Rhizobium in fixing atmospheric nitrogen and hence enhancing soil fertility has been well established.Plants belonging to the family leguminosae (Sub families caesalpiniodeae,Mimosideae,Papilionideae and Fabaceae) have symbiotic association with Rhizobium. In legume roots. Rhizobia are incorporated in root cells to form the Nitrogen fixing root nodules.
* Rhizobium is a soil habitat bacterium {which can able to colonize the legume roots and fixes the atmospheric nitrogen symbiotically}.
* They are the most efficient biofertilizer as per the quantity of nitrogen fixed concerned. Storage of bio fertilizer packet ? The packet should be stored in a cool place away from the heat or direct sunlight.
Application of Biofertilizers :
1. Seed treatment or seed inoculation
2. Seedling root dip
3. Main field application Seed treatment ? One packet of the inoculant is mixed with 200 ml of rice to make a slurry.
* The seeds required for an acre are mixed in the slurry so as to have a uniform coating of the inoculant over the seeds and then shade dried for 30 minutes.* The shade dried seeds should be sown within 24 hours. * One packet of the inoculant (200 g) is sufficient to treat 10 kg of seeds.
